By now everyone can see the orange skies outside.  Looking out my window and cant see anything.  I heard strong winds hit Shuwaikh and Hawally.  And we can see them getting stronger in Kuwait city.  As per Q8weather, a warning has been issued:

Cloverfield: Review

April 30th, 2008

To tell you the truth, for the first 15 mins I thought the movie was gonna suck big time cos it started off seen through a hand held camera lens…. the point I guess was to try and get the audience more involved as if they were there. It all starts off with a [...]

Job Satisfaction Across The Gulf

April 30th, 2008

Interesting read on Arabian Business about job satisfaction across the Gulf and the Middle East.  A recent survey, The Employee Loyalty survey, for 9,760 workers was done questioning if they were satisfied with their careers.  This is what they got (percentages are of those with LOW satisfaction):
Saudi Arabia: 40%
UAE: 34%
Kuwait: 34%
Qatar: 30%
For some odd reason, workers in [...]

Employee Recognition Tips

April 29th, 2008

I was reading this article, which is directed towards the bosses out there, who are biest and have “preferences” when it comes to promotions or bonuses.  This is a MAJOR issue in Kuwait and many other Arab countries, but it is growing out of hand here.  Its common now that the more connections you have and [...]

His Poem vs. Her Poem

April 28th, 2008

This is pretty funny. A poem written by a man as against a poem written by a woman.  Funny stuff! Thanks madame!
WOMAN’S POEM

Before I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man, who’s not a creep,
One who’s handsome, smart and strong.
One who loves to listen long,
One who thinks before he speaks,
One who’ll call, not [...]
