February 20th, 2007

Almost done with work for today. Gots loads of things to do:

(1) Pick up my visa :P
(2) Buy stuff my cousin asked for
(3) Buy gifts
(4) Pick up clothes from the dry cleaner
(5) Buy a back pack
(6) Contact my cousin there and let here know what time I am coming
(7) Empty my car from papers and other junk
(8) Pack (I hate this part)
(9) Double check I packed everything
(10) Organize travelling documents
(11) Say bye to everyone
(12) Head to the airport
The excitement is kicking back again :) I am looking forward to this trip and intend of making use of every second of it. Anyone who has been to France and would like to suggest someplace worth checking out, I would apprecite your input. I wont be posting as much as usual when I am there, which is why I posted so much today.  But will sure post as much as possible pics of places I have gone to and things worth seeing. Take care everyone and happy blogging!! France… here I come!!
On another note: In case I dont get the chance: HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!

[...] Today is Nadine’s birthday.  She turned 23! All my friends know Nadine and have met her in person when she came for a visit to Kuwait last September.  And recently, when I went to France, she was the one who took me around and showed me the country.  While growing up, we would see each other for two - 1 month every summer.  But summer of 2006, we passed the “cousin” phase and went to the “close friends” phase and trusted each other with each other’s personal stuff.  If anything, I would say those few weeks were the highlight of my summer vacation.  And then she came to Kuwait and fell in love with the country and how chilled it is, and how problem free it is (compared to France ofcourse).  She met all my friends and she clicked in a way with each and every one.  And when I went to France, she took time off work only to show me around and made sure I did not leave the country without having had seen as much as possible of it and get me addicted to Prison Break [...]
