Today has got to be the worst day I have had since the new year. Being in corporate banking, each department has a specific job. At the end of each case deadline, the reports from each department are collected and then submitted to the management for study and decision taking. So it all depends on teamwork and nothing is done unless everyone does their job properly otherwise everyone pays for it. Teamwork is always good, when successful. But you always have those assholes who dont do their job properly and try to squeeze themselves out of it by blaming it on others. Today, since morning, my phone was ringing off the hook cos the general manager was asking for certain papers, and for some reason, he got the impression that I had them. I was getting shit from a lot of people. It was a case I worked on two weeks ago and presented the documents. Today, when it came time for it to be presented, another employee had lost those papers and blamed it on me. I got into fights and arguments with people throughout the bank till I found out who threw the blame on me. When I finally did, I didnt pick up the phone, I went and confronted her face-to-face and made her feel like shit and convinced her that she was the one who lost them. Now, she is taking shit from everyone for losing the papers and for carelessly throwing the blame on someone else. She ruined my entire day, I couldnt get any work done, plus got into pointless arguments with many. Although I cleared myself and put her in a tight situation instead, I’m not satisfied; I dont like it when anyone ruins my mood !!

Lesson here is:If you do something wrong, face the consequences and dont think you will get far by denying it, you will get caught sooner or later and lesson two……. Dont mess with me!!
